Steel worm drive gears to replace your stock axle gears with. Comes with the input worm gear shaft and the output drive gear locker and 2 o-rings for the top gear shafts. Overdrive Gears spin faster/Higher Ratio. Underdrive Gears spin slower/Lower Ratio. Bulletproof axle gears for scx24 / ax24 sold per 1 axle gear set. Important info below.

Fitment:

SCX24- Axle gears only for all SCX24 worm gear axles, including our X15 and 44 Axles.

SCX30- Transmission worm gear only. We have not verified the compatibility of these gears in the new SCX30 axles at this time.

We have several options. Be aware that over or under driving 1 axle vs the other will cause binding in your driveline and strain on your motor. However it will also give several benefits such as shorter turning radius and less likely hood of flipping over when going up or down obstacles. In essence you are dragging the rear end around when you have an overall ratio overdriven in front compared to the rear. That can be accomplished by either overdriving the front axle or underdriving the rear and or both. The more severe the ratio difference the more benefits and more strain on your driveline and motor. You can Also change the overall ratio faster or slower by using 2 sets of the same gears to go faster or slower. Steel gears also solve broken brass gear issues and also stripped brass gear locker issues. Have a nice tight lockup as well. Make sure to transfer the tiny o-rings from your old input worm gear onto the new one or use the o-rings supplied with overdrive or underdrive gears. Also check that the bearings will go on the shaft upper input gear and the axle shafts fit inside the lower gear and sand down a little if necessary before trying to put it together.
